Fudgy Chocolate Cake


  • 1 Cup Spelt Flour (can be replaced for Whole Wheat or Rye)
  • 1 Cup Coconut Flour (can be replaced for Almond or any Nut based flour)
  • 1 Cup Buckwheat Flour (can be replaced with Rice or Corn flour)
  • 1 Cup Coconut Sugar (can be replaced with Lucuma or Karob flour)
  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts (can be replaced with Pecans, Brazil Nuts, Hazelnuts)
  • 3/4 Cup Ghee (can be replaced with Coconut or cold pressed Olive Oil)
  • 2/3 Cup Cacao Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Cup Water


Preheat the oven at 350℃

Blend all wet ingredients first (by hand of with a gentle mixer). Then add the rest of the ingredients slowly. Walnuts at the end.

Bake for 30 minutes
