Buckwheat Pancakes & Crepes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup whole Buckwheat

  • 1/2 Cup Filtered Water

  • 1 Tbsp Virgin Coconut Oil (or Ghee if you are not a vegan)

  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon powder

  • 1/2 Tsp Ginger powder

  • Pinch of Rock or Sea Salt (unrefined)

HOW WE DO IT...

  • Soak the Buckwheat overnight
  • Rinse the soaked Buckwheat
  • Put all the ingredients in a power blender and mix until smooth (crepe mixture consistency)
  • Pour small quantities in a frying pan and brown it on both sides. 
  • Serve warm with Maple Syrup, Honey, Homemade spreads & Berries or Rawtella

Variations... Coloured Crepes

GREEN CREPE VARIATION

  • 1 Cup whole Buckwheat

  • 1/2 Cup Filtered Water

  • 1 Tbsp Virgin Coconut Oil (or Ghee if you are not a vegan)

  • 1 tsp Rock or Sea Salt (unrefined)

  • Handful of Spinach and Basil

  • Pinch of Oregano

RED CREPE VARIATION

  • 1 Cup whole Buckwheat

  • 1/4 Cup Filtered Water

  • 1 Tbsp Virgin Coconut Oil (or Ghee if you are not a vegan)

  • 1 tsp Rock or Sea Salt (unrefined)

  • 1/4 Cup Beetroot extract

  • 1 Shredded Carrot
