Green Chips & Veganese

What is you live in a country where you can't find curly Kale for your chips? No problem! You can still pick up some local chard and make these crunchy chips.

Chards are amongst the greenest (Chlorophyll rich) foods, yet another way to include more Mineral rich vegetables in your diet, makes the perfect savoury snack!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Bunches of Swiss Chard 

FOR THE VEGANESE

  • 1/2 Cup Cashew or Macadamia Nuts

  • 1/3 Cup Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice

  • 1 Clove of Garlic

  • Sea Salt

  • 1 Tsp Dried Oregano

HOW WE DO IT...

Blend the dressing ingredients until smooth.

Remove the white vein from the Swiss Chard and "massage" the leaves with the dressing, you may hear some crackling sound in the process. Shape them into bundles and dehydrate for 24 hours.
