I love surprising and introducing new flavours when friends come over, These 4 Dips or Spreads go really well with chopped vegetables and/or whole grain crackers or toast.
MIDDLE EASTERN ZATAAR
- Mix 1/3 Cup Virgin Olive Oil with dried Thyme, Oregano, Sesame Seeds, Sumac and Sea Salt
RED OLIVE SPREAD
- Blend 1/2 Cup pitted olives, 1 clove of Garlic, 1/3 Cup of Sunflower Seeds
- Process 1 Cup Basil, 1/2 Cup Spinach, 1 clove of Garlic, 1/3 Cup Pine Nuts (Cashews or Macadamia Nuts are just as creamy!), Sea Salt, 1/3 Cup Virgin Olive Oil
- Blend 1 Cup cooked chickpeas, 1 clove of Garlic, 2 Tbsp of Tahini, Sea Salt, and I always like a pinch of either Paprika or Cayenne Pepper.
