Choc Rawnies

 

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE BROWNIE:

  • 1 Cup Walnuts

  • 1 Cup Pecans (Brazil Nuts and Almonds will work as well)

  • 1 Cup Dates

  • 1/2 Cup Organic Cacao Powder

  • 1/4 Tsp Sea or Himalayan Salt

Place the ingredients in the food processor, make sure you stop the cycle before the nuts turn into a powder, we want to enjoy those crunchy bits of walnuts and pecans. Make a square layer.

FOR THE CRUNCHY LAYER:

  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil (melted)

  • 1/4 Cup Cacao Butter (melted)

  • 1/2 Cup Organic Cacao Powder

  • 2 Tbsp. Agave (or 1/4 Tsp. Stevia if you are avoiding all sugars)

Mix all the ingredients and pour it on top of the brownie layer. Refrigerate. Cut into small squares or rectangles and decorate with crushed walnuts.
