Basic Roasted Nuts & Granola

Keep in mind that both recipes use the same and temperature in the oven so you could save time and do both at once!

Oat & Nut Granola 

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Cups Oats
  • 1.5 Cups Chopped Almonds (or your favourite Nut)
  • 1/2 Cup Dried Cranberries (or your favourite dried Fruit)
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract or Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup (or Agave, Honey, Yacon Syrup, Carob Syrup)
  • 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt

Preheat the oven at 175℃. Mix all the ingredients (except the dried fruit) in a bowl and bake for 10 minutes, turn and toss, continue baking for 3 more minutes. Add the dried fruit when cool.

Roasted/Salted Nuts

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup whole Cashewnuts
  • 1 Cup whole Almonds
  • 1 Cup whole Hazelnuts
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 Tsp Sea Salt

Preheat the oven at 175℃. Mix all the ingredients and bake for 10 minutes, turn and toss, continue baking for 3 more minutes or until the nuts are light brown.
