I found my Sprout!

The Mindful Sprout was born in the Tropics, I thought I knew coconuts before we came to live in Tanzania. Turns out, after a year and a half, I am still discovering new ways of using this wonderful plant. Is it a seed, a fruit or a nut? It's all of them! It is unmistakably the "Tree of Life", and remains until today, a very important part of the East African diet.

You can nourish every cell in your body with this fruit, it gives you water, a young creamy flesh, oil and fiber. It has it all! Besides the exceptional nutritional value, it is by far the most amazing sprout I've ever seen. The life force needed to crack open a brick hard shell is testament to one of the largest sprouts known. Such vitality and vigour is what made me fall in love with coconuts. This unique quality inspired me to name my work "The Mindful Sprout", because it takes a lot of guts to "crack open" our minds, wake up and make room for new truths and paradigms.
